Families come to therapy when tension keeps cycling, when a transition (a move, divorce, new sibling, illness, blending households) has shifted the ground under everyone, or when communication has simply stopped working. We honor each person's perspective and help the family find healthier ways to talk, listen, and repair.
Our approach is collaborative and strength-based. We use evidence-informed methods to support real change in the patterns that affect everyone — not just the person who first reached out.
What we work on
- Parent–child conflict
- Sibling relationships
- Blended family transitions
- Communication breakdowns
- Adolescent challenges
- Loss or major life change
How it works
Family members attend sessions together, with occasional individual or sub-group sessions as helpful. The therapist supports each person being heard while keeping the focus on the family's shared goals. Sessions are 45–50 minutes and available in person at our Katy office or virtually.
